The food was amazing. The Cajun mumbo wings were a sweet heat delight. The iceberg wedge salad with housemade ranch and balsamic glaze was the best salad I have ever eaten. The secret dessert menu is beyond measure. I call.it a secret because we had to ask if one existed. Treat yourself to the upside down cheesecake. I was not a lover of cheesecake, until now. Great, clean atmosphere with elevated finishes. The owners came to every table to greet and thank each patron. We got to meet Chef Che. So kind and gracious and even took a photo with us. There was even a photo op with Santa Clause for the holiday season. A special ornament generouly filled shot was placed at the table of each quest. A must see. A must eat. A must enjoy spot in Hoover.
My friends and I had a great time here over the weekend. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing, and it's obvious that pride is taken in every detail. We also enjoyed taking pics with Santa and seasonal cocktails. I will definitely be back, and can't recommend this restaurant enough!
If you’re looking for a brunch spot that checks every box, this place is it! The food. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor, but the shrimp and grits were on a whole different level. Creamy, seasoned perfectly, and topped with tender shrimp. Definitely will be back!
I visited on Saturday for the first time and will be returning! 1. Staff understand that hospitality is how you make people feel - I felt seen, heard, and valued. Not transactional at all. 2. I had the seasonal mocktail, which had Blackberry, Ginger, and mint - absolutely a summer delight. 3. The atmosphere is engaging and warm; every guest I spoke with was friendly and happy to be there. Whether you're looking for a spot for a date or a place to hang with friends, Sticks-N-Stones has you covered.
A great new spot located directly across from the Hoover Met. Date night, a celebration, or just dinner with friends and family you and your party wont be disappointed. Great drinks and a limited but great food selection. We ordered the Short Ribs and Salmon both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The dinners came out with 10-12 minutes. Great service, we will definitely visit again.
This place was OUTSTANDING!!! The food was hot and fresh. Steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The truffle parmesan fries was the perfect match. I was full but kept eating fries because they tasted so good! My wife had the salmon and said that it was delicious! The price was reasonable and the bar is stocked with some of the best bourbon around. The staff was super nice. We walked in about 30 minutes before they closed after lunch. They were not upset and told us we could sit as long as we wanted. We will definitely be back soon!
This place was great from start to finish. First, my fiancé and I started with hummus (which comes with soft carrots, soft bread, olives and pickles). We also got a wedge salad with ranch-delicious. By the time we got our burger I was almost full, but the burger and fries came out hot and delicious. Last, we got a lemon and chocolate cake with house made ice cream. I left stuffed! It was so good! Also, the bar made a couple of delicious mocktails for me-one was fruity, the other was like a cinnamon ginger drink. All was amazing!
Went to have dinner with a friend while in town and I was not disappointed!!!!! Service: The customer service was amazing!!! Our waitress was attentive and polite. The owner coming over to say hello to us and all the other patrons in the resturant was a very nice touch and the bonus is I found out wr are from the same area in my home state! Food: I had the braised short Rib.. 10/10!!! Presentation and flavors were on point! The wings were good too! The Pear cocktail.. AMAZING !!! Atmosphere: Definitely a great spot to come have cocktails and chill and chat. Love love the concept and the decor sets the vibes so well ✨️ OVERALL: 9/10 only because I wished they had a few more dishes to choose from. The food on the menu was amazing though. Definitely recommend !!!!
We went as a group to celebrate a birthday of a close friend. The staff was amazing and the food was absolutely scrumptious! The Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp and Grits and bottle of mimosas made us very happy and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend! 5/5
Everything was amazing. Loved all the cocktails. This was the first time I’ve ever loved eating salmon skin, the Knox Square Margarita was the best margarita I’ve ever had. The lemon lava dessert was the best dessert I’ve had in my life, homemade white cream and strawberry ice cream. We should’ve gotten two desserts because we were about to fight over it.
